After 90 days, the marriage license will expire. When couples have a regular San Mateo marriage license, they can be married anywhere in the state of California. When couples have a confidential marriage license, they must be married within San Mateo County. There are many persons that are authorized to officiate at wedding ceremonies in Redwood City.
