The operation was ended. I have used the Dell cleaning tape to clean the tape drive. We have also put in new Backup tapes and this error still continues.
On Saturday 17 th I cleaned the tape drive twice with a new cleaning tape and place in a new backup tape and ran a small file backup and it completed successfully so I then ran a system state backup on the system and it completed with no errors, so I then ran the full backup and it failed at the same point again. I then ran another full system back and instead of going to the tape drive I sent it to a file on another network server share and that completed successful.
I rebooted the server on Monday 19 th November and let the backup run again and it failed at the same point. Any suggestions on this problem. NTMS session started successfully. Will enumerate on 3 media libraries found.
