To clarify, I upgraded a few weeks ago to MS10 and have been using it with no issues rather than trying to find where things are and how to use the new software.

Windows button on the keyboard doesn't work either. Task mgr and file explorer do work. Right-clicking the bottom left brings up the Task Mgr and stuff some there seems to work except the Search item doesn't appear to do anything. So basically I can't use any apps except what's left on the task bar, can't get to Tile World or All Apps, can't search, change settings etc. I can do what I need to do for work, but not much else, so I'm having second thoughts about reinstalling and having to deal with trying to get my computer back to where I can use it again.

Is it possible to fix the problems without having to erase the apps I depend on for work? This is typical of the problems seen from Upgrade choking on or passing issues from the previous OS, especially if it was a factory install which is the worst install of Windows possible.
